Entrance to Tipon (Archaeological park). Tipon is located south of the city of Cusco, approximately 1 hour from the historic center, the time may vary since it will depend a lot on the city’s traffic. And to be able to visit the archaeological park you will need the Cusco tourist ticket partial circuit 2, this ticket will also be valid to visit Pikillacta. The price of the partial tourist ticket is 70 soles for foreigners and 40 soles for Peruvians. You can buy it at the same tourist attraction or in Cusco (av sol 103).
Tipon
In Tipon you can see the Agricultural Platforms, Fountains and Water Canals, Intiwatana, Cruzmoqo Viewpoint and the different enclosures and walls.
To visit Tipon you can take a tour (Valle Sur Cusco) that has daily departures and additionally visits Pikillacta and the Andahuaylillas temple.
And if you go on your own, you can request private transportation with our travel agency or you can also go by local bus (Los leones) that will take you to the city of Tipon and then you must go to the ruins.
After visiting the archaeological park you can go to the city of Tipon and taste the delicious Cuy al Horno and local dishes from the area.
